write down 3 ways Black Americans were treated differently

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

Black Americans didn't have many rights back in the day and mostly were slaves for the White citizens.

Black Americans were segregated from white people and weren't treated fairly. An example of this is when Rosa Parks sat in the bus on a seat that was 'reserved' for a white person.

Black Americans in the southern states suffered more discrimination than those in the north. This was because of the Jim Crow laws in the south. The Jim Crow laws legalised segregation and helped to keep black Americans in inferior positions in society, politics and the economy.

Some of these laws were -

Black Americans could not serve on juries, voting was made difficult for black Americans - and in order to vote they would have to pay a poll tax, pass a literacy test...,

Schools for black Americans were deliberately kept inferior- the textbooks were old and less money was spent on their privileges. This happened because the white people wanted the Black Americans to remain uneducated. Many Black citizens didn't have a proper education and if they did. they had very little and the environment where they studied was less in comparison to the white children. Meaning white children had the privileges of having bigger textbooks and bigger, more spacious classrooms, making it rare for Black Americans to study well and have a good education.

Answers

Answer:

The main ethnic groups in the USA when the Manifest Destiny took place were mainly Native Americans. I don’t know exactly what their tribal names were, but for sure native Americans were the main ethnic group.

The manifest destiny of 1845 impacted them in a bad way bc the settlers basically pushed them out of their homelands. The settlers made war against them and the native Americans with less weapons would lose the battle.

In essence, the Native Americans has their lands stolen from them and their people killed because the settlers believe that they had the God-given right to expand their territory, even if it meant killing off other people.

Then for the actual paragraph I said:

"Frontier means the outer limits of what is known, explored, and settled. Americans during this time were determine to do so and push the limits of exploration. They did so by expanding their territory and and buying lands such as the Louisiana Purchase. Americans did so because they believed in Manifest Destiny. This was pushing them to go tame the country's frontiers and expand their exploration. Manifest Destiny said it was their right and duty to do so. Even though the environment and travel would be dangerous, Americans had to advance and colonize in these new areas. "
