How should a reader analyze indirect characterization? Select four options.

Answers

Answer:

Answer:

By noticing how the character interacts with other characters.

By noticing details about what the character says, does, and thinks.

By noticing how the other characters perceive the character.

By noticing the context, and use it to make inferences about the character.

Explanation:

Indirect characterization is the process by which the writer presents the personality of the character through different methods except for directly describing it. That is to say, the character is identified by the way he/she acts, talks and looks like, and this is how the reader determines what kind of person the character is.

What is Greece?

The Aegean and Ionian seas are home to hundreds of islands, which are located in the southeast European nation of Greece. It is frequently referred to as the cradle of Western culture and was influential in antiquity. The Acropolis citadel and Parthenon temple from the fifth century B.C. still stand in Athens, the country's capital. Greece is renowned for its beaches, from the Mykonos party islands to the black sands of Santorini.

The two largest Greek airlines, Aegean Airlines, and Olympic Air offer year-round domestic service to the majority of Greek mainland and island airports as well as year-round international service to key European towns.

Greece has a Mediterranean climate, with hot, dry summers, cold, snowy winters in the central and northern mountainous regions, and moderate, wet winters in the southern lowland and island regions.

Greece is always hot in July, with Athens' average temperature reaching 81 F. (but reaching an average high of 91.5 Fahrenheit in the afternoon, with many days topping a sweltering 100 Fahrenheit). The hilly regions and several of the islands can be a little cooler.

Explain about how foreign employment assists in improving the economic condition of a country.

Answers

Answer:

Every foreign worker should go back after a few years, supported by the host economy, to invest and build business in her/his originating community

Answer:

Foreign countries always try to help and create conditions for developing countries where they can focus on their development. Foreign countries help by introducing them to foreign investment and investments from international organizations, which allow in the growth of certain industries and future economic growth. They also provide foreign exchange in daily purchase activities as well as direct investments. Countries that are slow in developing will tend to be poor; so what they need is a push to change the way things are done, a push from another country or an international organization. For instance, the IMF and the World Bank usually provide assistance to country that are slow to grow in a very difficult situation. Another way they help is by providing them with foreign employment opportunities which often provides jobs. Foreign employment paves the way for improvements in their living conditions and living standards, resulting in economic growth. For instance, for a country like Nigeria where there are employees working abroad earning decent wages, many others have decided to follow them by taking up similar means of employment elsewhere.

How do Babette's and Maman-Nainaine's feelings about the figs contribute to the overall
meaning of the story?

Answers

The key exchange would be this: "Ah," said Maman-Nainaine, arching her eyebrows, "how early the figs have ripened this year!" "Oh," said Babette, "I think they have ripened very late." Their different feelings indicate the way each character perceives the passing of time, which is what Chopin is exploring here.

"Ah," remarked Maman-Nainaine, raising her eyebrows, "how early the figs have ripened this year!" Babette answered, "Oh, I think they've matured rather late. Chopin is analyzing the passage of time in this composition through the many emotions that each character exhibits.

can someone help me write a persuasive paragraph on something? it can be anything just something appropriate please

Answers

Answer:

I believe that kids should not be assigned homework because school and the classes that we now have are difficult enough. As though our minds are already exhausted from having to get up and go to school extra early and complete all of this work in several subjects. And I know that I hardly have the time or energy to do homework after school because I work most of the time, even when I don't have to work, I am constantly tired because I work night shift on school days, so I am up working all night and exhausted when I come home. We all need a vacation from all the homework now and then. Additionally, all of our other classes are sure to have given us a schoolwork already. You can't reasonably expect us to undertake all of this labor, can you? And, to be honest, I don't see the point; why make us do work in class and then punish us by assigning us homework at home? When we get a brief break from school until the next morning, home is supposed to be a place to relax. When I get off work, I go home to rest, just like other people. You don't see people's employment assigning them duties that they must complete at home. When I go to work, I clean and take orders, but when I go home, I don't take orders, so why should I have to learn and do schoolwork projects at home? Because the concept is that we work when we are there, but after you clock out and go home, you have that time to relax. So, my conclusion is that homework isn't crucial because school is for learning and home is where we unwind after a long day at school.

Taking a more aggressive approach to women's suffrage was arguably more impactful in the short term. Alice Paul learned how to use this aggressive approach in England and brought it to the United States. For a while, she held a leadership position with the National American Woman Suffrage Association. She helped organize the March on Washington held on March 2, 1913, the day before President Wilson's inauguration. The parade was led by a human rights lawyer riding a white horse, and behind her women marched in costumes reflecting the nations that had already given women the vote. Multiple floats, bands, brigades, and costumed women paraded on through Washington, D.C. However, during the parade of protest, some men attacked the women and behaved poorly, and the police did nothing to stop it. The actions of the men led to an inquiry, which brought women's suffrage significant public awareness. However, some women did not agree with Paul's methods. Paul ultimately formed a separate group, which became known as the National Woman's Party. This group of women held marches and hunger strikes. They were also the first organization to organize a picket of the White House in January 1917. While their choice to picket during World War I angered some, their methods did make an impact and paved the way for women's suffrage to become law. Both peaceful and aggressive approaches contributed to the ratification of the 19th Amendment on August 18, 1920. On November 2, women across the nation voted, which marked the beginning of the ongoing struggle to reform the rights of women in the United States.Read the sentence from the text:On November 2, women across the nation voted, which marked the beginning of the ongoing struggle to reform the rights of women in the United States.Which point does this piece of evidence support?
