Answer:
C and D
Explanation:
A is incorrect because there are many people involved in "The Adventure of the Six Napoleons" that commit crimes.
B is incorrect because in the first story, he takes the case at the urging of a professor at the university and in the second story, he takes the case and works with Lestrade.
C is correct because in "The Adventure of the Three Students" no one is hurt, but someone was murdered in the other story.
D is correct because in "The Adventure of the Three Students" a serious crime isn't really committed and so there was no reason for the police to be involved. However, in the second story, Lestrade asks for Holmes' help and they work together.

Read the following paragraphs carefully to see whether or not they create a mood.
'My name is Trinius. I don't really know why I followed the crowd up this hill. I watched as they yelled, "Crucify Him!" at His trial. I knew He was an innocent man.
I couldn't choke back the tears as I watched Him carry that heavy cross. They had already beaten Him so badly you couldn't recognize Him. When He stumbled, and the cross fell on Him, I wept openly. And yet, as He looked at me, there was no hate in His eyes!
I stood afar off, but my heart was heavy as I listened to the nails being pounded into the cross!'
Do the paragraphs above create a mood? If so, what kind of mood do they create? Type an answer describing what kind of mood is created. Use at least one example from the paragraph to demonstrate the mood. If no mood is created, type No mood is created.

Read this excerpt from The Golem.
There is wild disorder as neighbors, children, birds, cart-peddlers, other livestock, all run into each other in the frenzy caused by the chickens.
Suddenly, the people hear a loud roar, louder even than the noise they've been making. Everyone stops – even the chickens – and looks up the street to see the source of the sound.
A deep flood races around a corner and down the street toward them, several feet high and carrying away everything in its path. People, carts, animals, birds, all go flying down the street, carried by the racing current.

Have your own bedroom or your own bathroom?
Also my choice would be to have my own bedroom.
Please write 8 or 9 sentences.
Thank you.
It’s because I need to color code the l sentences later.
Thank you again!
I would personally have my own bedroom. You spend much more time in your bedroom than you would a bathroom. When I have time to myself, I'd want to be comfortable and have space all to my own. With a bedroom, you have a bunch of space and a cozy bed and all your stuff in it. You can just chill by yourself. With a bathroom, it's usually a much smaller space, and you don't really have any comfy furniture there. Also, I could lay on my floor in the bedroom, but laying on the floor in the bathroom wouldn't be ideal. Bathrooms to yourself are nice, but your own living space is better.

Read the excerpt from “The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle.”
I called upon my friend, Sherlock Holmes, on the second morning after Christmas, to wish him a happy holiday. He was lounging upon the sofa in a purple dressing gown among a pile of crumpled morning newspapers. He was peering through a magnifying glass at an old, shabby black hat, cracked in several places.
“Am I interrupting you?” I asked.
“Not at all. I am glad to have a friend with whom I can discuss my findings.”
I sat down in his armchair and warmed my hands before his crackling fire. A sharp frost had set in, and the windows were thick with the ice crystals. “I suppose,” I remarked, “that, homely as it looks, that hat has some deadly story linked on to it. Is it the clue that will guide you to the solution of a mystery, or the punishment of a crime?”
“No, no. No crime,” said Sherlock Holmes, laughing. “Only one of those odd little events that happen when you have four million people crowded together within the space of a few square miles.”
