write a composition about the day i lost my bus fare
Answer:
The day I lost my wallet
When I was seven years old, I was given a small wallet to keep my pocket-money in. It made me feel grown up and I carried it proudly in my hip pocket.
One day, during recess in school, I discovered that my wallet was missing. I searched all my pockets but could not find it. There were a couple of ringgit or so in the wallet and without it I could not buy anything to eat.
I was close to tears. It was not so much because of losing my precious wallet but because I might get a scolding from my parents. Anyhow I went hungry that day.
After recess I was in no mood to study at all. I kept thinking about how I lost my wallet and what my parents would do to me. How was I going to explain the loss? I did not know whether someone had pinched it from my pocket or it had merely fallen out. I prayed that someone would find it and return it to me.
My prayers came to nought. Fortunately I did not have to pay to get on my school bus. My fare was paid for monthly.
When I told my mother about my loss, she was clearly angry. I received a long lecture about my carelessness. When my father came home, I received another lecture. Also I was told that there would not be any more wallets for me until I got older.
So for the rest of the year and two years following, I carried my pocket-money (which became only a ringgit) in my pocket, without any wallet. I am glad to say I never lost any money again. I had learned to be more careful. It is not pleasant to lose something and then get scolded for losing it.
ringgit A basic unit of currency in Malaysia.
mood A temporary state of mind or feeling
nought nothing
The composition describes the day the author lost their bus fare and the panic and frustration they felt. They were saved by a kind stranger named Mark who offered to pay for their bus fare. This act of kindness restored their faith in humanity and inspired them to pay it forward in their own life.
It was a typical Monday morning as I rushed out of my house, trying to catch the bus to school. As I reached the bus stop, I realized that I had forgotten to grab my wallet, which contained my bus fare. Panic set in as I watched the bus approaching. I desperately searched through my pockets, hoping to find some spare change, but to no avail.
Feeling frustrated and defeated, I watched the bus pass by, leaving me stranded at the stop. Thoughts of being late for class and the consequences that would follow filled my mind. I contemplated walking to school, but the distance was too great, and time was running out.
As I stood there, contemplating my options, a kind stranger approached me. He must have sensed my distress and asked if I needed help. Hesitant at first, I explained my predicament. To my surprise, he offered to pay for my bus fare. Grateful beyond words, I accepted his generous offer.
We boarded the next bus together, and during the journey, we engaged in a friendly conversation. I learned that his name was Mark and that he believed in helping others whenever he could. His act of kindness not only saved me from being late but also restored my faith in humanity.
Arriving at my school, I thanked Mark profusely, and he simply smiled and wished me luck. That day, I learned a valuable lesson about the power of compassion and the impact a small act of kindness can have on someone's day.
Losing my bus fare may have initially seemed like a disaster, but it ended up being a reminder that there are still good-hearted people in the world. It taught me to be more mindful and prepared, but also to be open to the kindness of strangers.
Since that day, I have made it a point to pay it forward whenever I can. Whether it's helping someone in need or simply offering a kind word, I strive to make a positive difference in someone's day, just as Mark did for me.
The day I lost my bus fare will always serve as a reminder of the importance of empathy and the potential impact we can have on each other's lives. It taught me to look beyond my own struggles and to be there for others, no matter how small the gesture may seem.

The United States did not have any women astronauts until 1978; however, the Soviet Union sent a woman into space in 1963.
Explanation:
In grammar, the semicolon (;) is a punctuation mark used to introduce pauses or breaks between different sections of a sentence or between different sentences. According to grammar rules, this punctuation mark should be included to separate two independent clauses, which are clauses that express a complete idea; to separate items in a list if these are long or have inner punctuation and before adverbs that link two independent clauses such as moreover, otherwise, therefore or however.
This means in the case of the sentence "The United States did not have any women astronauts until 1978 however, the Soviet Union sent a woman into space in 1963" a semicolon should be added before the word "however", not only because this is a conjunctive adverb but because this sentence contains two independent clauses that need to be separated by a semicolon. Therefore the sentence that shows the correct use of the semicolon is "The United States did not have any women astronauts until 1978; however, the Soviet Union sent a woman into space in 1963".

Naval architects never claim that a ship is unsinkable, but the sinking of the passenger-and-car ferry Estonia in the Baltic surely should have never have happened. It was well designed and carefully maintained. It carried the proper number of lifeboats. It had been thoroughly inspected the day of its fatal voyage. Yet hours later, the Estonia rolled over and sank in a cold, stormy night. It went down so quickly that most of those on board, caught in their dark, flooding cabins, had no chance to save themselves: Of those who managed to scramble overboard, only 139 survived. The rest died of hypothermia before the rescuers could pluck them from the cold sea. The final death toll amounted to 912 souls. However, there were an unpleasant number of questions about why the Estonia sank and why so many survivors were men in the prime of life, while most of the dead were women, children and the elderly. within the story the author alludes to the king solomen and queen of sheba. the queen of sheba was known to be beautiful intelligent and bery rich. king solomen was said to exceed all kings in riches and, when he succeeded she showered him in giftss. how does these allusions add to the delopment of the story
Answer:
This ceremony alludes to the biblical story of King Solomon and Queen of Sheba by telling the story of a couple who exchanges gifts. Both stories explore the theme of the interaction of wealth and love.
Queen Sheba brought gifts and the richest with her. King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba all she desired and asked for, besides what he had given her out of his royal bounty. They were "the wisest" for each giving up their most valuable items for each other even though giving up their most precious possession ruined one another's gift.
Queen Sheba discovered the real wisdom of Solomon, that he can handle any tricky situation, that no one can fool him that's why he's a highly respected King in their great times.
Later on, the allusions to the Queen of Sheba and Solomon are made in many famous paintings, sculptures, and other artwork. Most depict a wealthy man and woman sharing gifts with each other, typically surrounded by symbols of wealth or people.
Explanation:
This biblical story of King Solomon and Queen Sheba is alluded to in one of the important Masonic traditions.
According to the Bible, the purpose of her visit was to test Solomon's wisdom by asking him to solve a number of riddles.
The Queen of Sheba is the monarch mentioned in the Bible and then in later works who travels to Jerusalem to experience the wisdom of King Solomon. The Queen of Sheba came to Solomon with an open, teachable heart. She brought gifts and the richest with her. She came to worship and to gaze on his beauty.
Allusions can invoke a wide range of subjects: they can draw from history, culture, or other works of literature, to name just a few examples. You can identify allusions by thinking critically about what part of a sentence or paragraph talks about something by relating it to something that comes from outside the text.

I’m sure you’re aware of the components of a brilliant story: a riveting plot, interesting characters, and the resolution (or not) of the protagonist’s conflict. All of these comprise the what of the narrative.
The how is described through scenes and settings.
The scenes in your story are, in a nutshell, the chances that you have to leave a lasting impression with the reader. They portray the aesthetic of your tale; which is its single-most impactful element. People read stories not just to know what happens, but also to find out how it happens. These are just two sides of the same coin.
A fantastic plot twist excites and amuses the reader.
A well-described scene teleports them into the world you’ve created.
Creating a palpable setting requires effective communication. The way to do this is defined clearly in the final point of this article. However, powerful writing has more to do with avoiding mistakes rather than developing new skills. The first two points are about this.
